Classes are recorded so if you can’t attend during class sessions, you won’t miss a thing. The recordings will be available for one month after the workshop ends.

Painting tight or painting loose are personal preferences although both styles require understanding watercolors and painting with intention.

There is something so lovely, so freeing, and so joyful about letting go of precise brushstrokes and details and just splashing around in a loose style.

To paint in a loose and spontaneous style does require us to be more confident, less controlled and more willing to let watercolors do their thing.

In this workshop we will learn how to cultivate a willingness to let the paint take us in unexpected directions, to loosen our grip on your brush, trade in small brushes for larger ones, use more water, and let go of expectations.

We can create a lot of messes as we play but often we will create beauty too.

The invitation link to join the class on Zoom will be sent to you around 9:45am on the days of our class, 15 minutes before class starts.
