In February we will sketch at one of the best galleries around, Red Sky Gallery at 17171 NE Bothell Way in Lake Forest Park, Washington.
There is so much to see and sketch here. We will have tables and chairs set up where we can sketch artwork, jewelry, and home decor comfortably. There is a lot of free parking and I will demo one of my favorite sketching techniques, contour drawing in ink with a watercolor wash.

Set along the Sammamish River, this park has a historical museum, amphitheater, play areas & paths. It also has a dog park, picnic tables, and great views.
There is a small parking lot by the playground / restrooms. Let’s meet in this area. This beautiful park along the Sammamish River is home to several historic buildings, including a log cabin from the late 1800s, a schoolhouse and a Victorian-era residence that is now home of the Bothell Historical Museum. There is also a lovely bridge, lots of paths and nature. So much beauty to sketch!
