A lot of us have ideas for a book but don’t know where to start, how to start, or how to move forward. This workshop is for those of us who are interested in exploring the process of story telling and writing a book! Come join Annie Carl in this fun, approachable and informative workshop!

Do you have a story welling up in you? Is it fiction? Non-fiction? This class will help you get started! Students will get to build a story using characters, plot, dialogue, world building, active voice, and research during this six week course. Each week, we'll focus on a different part of a novel/non-fiction work to help students get started on a novel-length body of work.

Materials: journal, notebook, pen, pencil, laptop, portable typewriter.
