Hybrid Class: one day on Zoom and one day at the park!

Learn how to paint landscapes right on location at Bothell Landing Park with any medium you like! Plein air painting the act of painting outdoors that was popularised in 19th-century France. It's a great way to learn value, composition, and get outdoors to enjoy nature. This class will focus on color theory, atmospheric perspective, and the principles of lighting needed to paint in full color. Day 1 will go over skills, techniques as you follow along with a demo on painting landscapes. Day 2 will be on to put all those new skills to use. This class is great for all ages and levels. Come join us in the outdoors to learn a new skill and set yourself up for an art-filled summer.
