October is the month to play with ink. We’ll paint and draw with ink this month while Inktober also happens. Bring out your collection of pens and inks and we will draw and experiment with them. There are brush pens, fine-liners, fountain pens and fude nib pens to explore and well as calligraphy and dip pens. There are a wide variety of marks and strokes that can be made. Some inks are permanent and some are water-soluble. All of our coloring will be done with ink and ink washes. Inktober encourages drawing something with ink daily during the month of October. If you’d like to be part of a community and have some accountability to get the month started, come join me.
