Online using Zoom. Video tutorials available to students for one year.

In this two part class, you will paint an image of a barred owl in a cherry tree from a photo reference by local wildlife photographer Michael Crowe. In the first session you will create a soft focus background of cherry blossoms on velour paper with soft pastels. In the second session you will paint the main subject matter the owl in soft, hard and pastel pencil.  By the end of the workshop, you will have created a small 8' x 10" painting suitable for framing.

 A supply list and photo reference will be sent to students prior to class.
