We have several open studios for students who would like to work on their own projects with a little guidance from one of our instructors. It’s a great way to work on your art, get feedback, and meet other artists. Here are some open studio options for you!

Watercolor Open Studio for adults with Lynnea Mattson

This is a student driven class. Students are encouraged to suggest techniques, processes, subject matter, styles, mediums, or any other aspects of watercolor painting. Projects can be presented once a month if wanted. Completion of existing projects with advice and help by the instructor. Paint, Draw or Sketch All Day Tuesdays for adult & teens with Charlene Collins Freeman

Participate as often as your schedule allows. Join Charlene for these open studio all day sessions and bring your painting projects, drawings, sketches, journaling, any creative endeavor your are pursuing! Mentorship Studio Sessions for Adults & Teens with Tara Larsen Chang

$25/week purchased in $100 blocks

Appropriate for all levels except for complete beginners.
Bring the art projects you are working on and receive personal guidance, critique, and instruction to help you move forward. As time allows, Tara will also provide demonstrations of various media (from watercolor, colored pencil, mixed media, collage, graphite, even a touch of digital), or discussions of art and design principles. This is a great opportunity to finish up projects, push your work to a higher level, or prep your portfolio for college admissions. A consistent art practice is one of the most effective ways to up your skill and enjoyment levels!

Colored Pencil Open Studio for Adults & Teens 15+ with Rhonda Gardener

This is an open time to work on student driven projects in the company of other colored pencil enthusiasts. Occasional demonstrations will be provided along with advice and help from the instructor.
