Last week's sewing camp
Last week Emily Brown led a camp of 9 - 12 year olds in learning basics of hand sewing and in the process they made some amazing creations!
They started their week by learning the whip stitch, running stitch, and how to use an iron while making these sweet needle and pin books. These skills were new for most kids. Emily loves that she gets to introduce something so near and dear to her heart to these young people.
Then they designed and stitched these adorable key chains and wallets!
And then they learned how to embroider! Thank you Emily and thank you young sewers for all your creativity and joy!
