Needle Felting!
Yesterday we offered our first needle felting workshop, taught by the talented Laurie Kathleen Clark.
Laurie mailed each student all the supplies they would need to make their chickadees plus a whole lot of extra supplies to make a second one on their own. She also provided excellent written instructions for everyone in a beautiful 9 page step by step instruction PDF booklet.
After getting all these goodies, we met up on Zoom for live instruction. We all worked and shared via Zoom and everyone ended up with these cute needle felted little chickadees!
It was very fun and magical: you could make just about anything from a handful of wool and a felting needle!
Laurie has upcoming workshops on needle felting bees and ladybugs, open to kids, teens and adults! Whether we can meet in person or will be still staying at home, come join us in some joyful creativity!
LADYBUG NEEDLE FELTING WORKSHOP

In this beginner 3 hour class you will turn a handful of fluff into a sweet little felted Ladybug. Learn about the materials and tools you need to get started, the basics of needle felting, and turn your wool into a pin, magnet, or hanging finished project.

• An easy-to-follow lesson on beginning needle felting
• Step-by-step directions to make your own ladybug
• A selection of felting wool, needles, and foam needed during the class
• Techniques you can apply to a lot of other projects
• A finished piece project to take
