This is a great course for any artist ready to take their art to the next level, to learn how to tell stories with our art, and work beyond a reference photo. Don’t miss out!

Overview
This series of workshops teaches skills and concepts that are applicable to any type of art making: any medium, any subject and any project, from a single painting, to a gallery series, to an entire children’s book or portfolio.
These are the skills that artists utilize to create strong images.

Come stretch your artistic sensibilities with professional illustrator, Tara Larsen Chang

Appropriate for all skill levels with some art experience background.
(Not appropriate for complete beginners.)

In the Fundamentals series (101, 102 and 103), we will cover foundational concepts necessary to produce creative and impactful art and illustration. These fundamentals are covered in three mini-workshops, each 3 weeks long. These workshops are prerequisites for taking the advanced Visual Story-Telling workshop, unless you have samples of your work that demonstrate that you are familiar with the concepts being covered.
