Online Watercolor Happy Art Hour(s): Flowers in a Basket

Friday March 12
3pm - 5pm (Pacific Time)

$20

Online using Zoom.

Let’s paint a basket full of flowers! Bring your supplies and beverage of choice.

After I receive your registration, I will email you the line drawing for this project so that you can complete your drawing before class. In class, we will focus on painting.

The invitation link to join the class on Zoom will be sent to you around 2:45pm on the day of our class, 15 minutes before class starts. Have your supplies set up and we will jump right in.

All skill levels welcome.

Here is a list of supplies you’ll need for class:

Watercolor palette

Watercolor brushes (I will use a Black Gold 311, Size 00)

Watercolor paper. I will use a 9 x 12 sheet of Arches watercolor paper (300 lbs cold press). Do not plan on using paper that is lighter than 140 lbs as it will curl too much with the water and paint. Even 140 lbs may curl so consider using artists tape or masking tape to tape it down to a board or table.

Water

Paper towels

Pencil (2H or lighter is best)

Eraser

A waterproof black ink pen (I used Micron Pen size 05)

Your favorite beverage
