All skill levels welcome.

In each "Abstraction: Artists and Perspectives" class, I will choose two artists who have different cultural backgrounds — but are dealing with the same pictorial language and/or similar subjects. I hope to introduce and investigate abstraction globally and outside of "isms." Selected artworks and subjects will reveal surprising resemblances and significant differences.

How It Works:

You will receive a Zoom invitation for this class. At the beginning of each class, I will be sharing a slide introducing Abstract artist’s artwork and their approach. Later, I will be give a small projects to experiment related to the subject and I will be making my own along with the class. We will share our artwork with the class so that we can inspire each other. This is the best way to learn and will lead to meaningful connections.
