The class will be held on Zoom. Eileen will take you through her video demonstrations and you will have access to the videos for a full year! (Note: the videos will not have audio so while you will have access to the video demonstrations for a year, they will be silent.)

From Eileen:

This Zoom version of my mixed media class will walk you through the steps I use to create my drawings. Over the course of two weekends (4 sessions) you will learn how to use pen and ink to lay down the structure of your drawing, use watercolor to add in quick color, and finally, how to add colored pencil over all these layers to complete a charming and lifelike final image. The time in between weekend sessions will allow you to work at your own pace and enable you to ask any questions at our second session about issues you may have had while practicing. Beginners to advanced welcome.

Her work looks incredibly detailed and difficult but her step by step, mixed media approach allows for an easy to follow quick build up of color and value while still leaving room for the beautiful detail and control of colored pencil. Eileen walks us through it in manageable and fun steps. You will learn watercolor and colored pencil application tips, and how to extract the best qualities of each medium in this fun and informative workshop.
