In this beginner-friendly mixed-media workshop, you’ll learn the basic steps of creative collage. We’ll talk about choosing surfaces, paper, adhesives and paint. We’ll practice arranging and layering patterns and shapes. We’ll experiment with various brushes, brayers, sponges and stamps. We’ll create a garden of beautiful, expressive paper paintings!

 No previous experience necessary. 

 What to bring: 

Proof of vaccination- required

A sack lunch (or plan to grab a bite at a local cafe.)

2-3 sheets of your favorite pattered paper such as scrapbook paper or wrapping paper

Optional:

Random paper scraps, old book pages, letters, vintage ephemera, Gelli plate printed papers.

A favorite rubber stamp or two.
